For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

The whole message of the Bible is summed up in these twenty five words. God loved us so much that: He gave His son, whom He loved above all else, to die on the cross that we might be saved.. This is the supreme attribute of God. This is the divine love that made Him endure the cross, and despise the shame.

This is the love that drew all of us to the plan of redemption and salvation.

Because of His love there is a way of salvation, a way back to God through Jesus Christ, His Son.

Jesus Said, in John 15:13, “Greater love has no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends”.

He not only loved you and me and also loved His enemies – the God – hating people.

Apostle Paul revealed, “He demonstrated His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Much more than having now been justified by His own blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son” (Rom.5:8-10)

If God so loved us, we also ought to love one another and love Him.

One of the greatest Commandments which the Lord gave to an expert of the Law is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matt.22:27).

Another Commandment He has given us, “Whoever loves God must also his brother” (1John 1:21). We love because He first loved us.

Let us respond to the love of God and love the Lord and rededicate our Loves for Him.
